| ???metadata.dc.description.resumo???: | Esta pesquisa visa refletir sobre as relações e articulações entre identidade de gênero, corpo e performatividade, através de etnografia realizada na cidade de Manaus. Os interlocutores desse trabalho são mulheres e homens transgênero com idades variadas e pertencentes, majoritariamente, a uma classe média urbana e escolarizada. Após uma revisão teórica e terminológica, discute-se questões relacionadas às tecnologias que auxiliam a criação e reprodução do gênero, bem como da sua performatividade, assim como práticas que constroem os corpos e discursos que negam seu direito de ser, através da transfobia. |
| Abstract: | This paper aims to discuss the relationship and the links between gender identity, body and performativity through an ethnography that took place in the city of Manaus. The interlocutors of this research are transgender women and men of various ages, mostly from an urban and educated middle class. After a theoretical and terminogical review, we discuss some issues related to technologies that support the creation and reproduction of gender and its performativity, as well as practices that form the bodies and speeches that deny their right to be, through transphobia. |
