dc.description.resumoO estresse e a saúde ocupacional tornaram-se questões de grande preocupação nas últimas décadas, tanto em nível nacional como internacional. Dado o valor do trabalho na sociedade, o tempo gasto com atividades laborais e as mudanças atuais que afetam a organização do trabalho, estes aspectos tem resultado em aumento do estresse ocupacional. As rápidas mudanças na economia global fazem com que as organizações operem em busca de maior eficiência, produtividade e qualidade. Consequentemente, imperativos econômicos e a necessidade de manter a vantagem competitiva resultaram em reestruturação e incertezas. A Síndrome de Burnout é uma preocupação global e está relacionada ao estresse ocupacional. Ocorre principalmente entre profissionais cujo trabalho envolve constantes exigências e interações intensas e diárias, com pressões e/ou responsabilidades. Portanto o objetivo geral do presente trabalho é analisar os níveis da Síndrome de Burnout em colaboradores de uma indústria de transformação que fabrica camas e estofados. Foi realizada uma pesquisa calcada em um estudo descritivo transversal, com abordagem metodológica quantitativa, exploratória, de campo, investigando determinadas características da população estudada. Os resultados mostram que dos entrevistados, 98,6% não têm Burnout, 1,4% apresentam Burnout. Através desse estudo pode-se concluir que a empresa tem um bom clima organizacional e não apresenta fatores estressantes no atual momento. É uma síndrome preferencialmente encontrada em profissões que lidam com outras pessoas diretamente e de forma intensa e diária, que apresentam pressões e/ou alto nível de responsabilidade como, por exemplo, professores e profissionais da saúde. Diante deste quadro, fazem-se propostas de melhorias a fim de minimizar e até mesmo, zerar esse índice na empresa. Conclui-se que apesar da pesquisa apontar um índice mínimo para a existência de síndrome de Burnout na empresa em estudo, é importante que se busquem melhorias a fim de reduzir ou eliminar essa síndrome no ambiente de trabalho.por
dc.description.abstractThe stress and occupational health have become a matter of great concern in the last decades, both in a national and international level. Given the value of work in the society, the time spent in labor activities and the current changes that affect the organization of work, these aspects have resulted in the increase of occupational stress. The sudden changes in global economy make the organizations operate in search of more efficiency, productivity and quality. Consequently, economic imperatives and the need to maintain competitive advantage have resulted in restructuring and uncertainties. The Burnout Syndrome is a global preoccupation and it is related to the occupational stress. It occurs mainly amongst professional whose work involves constant demands and intense daily interactions with pressions and/or responsibilities. Therefore the general objective of the present paper is to analyze the levels of the Burnout Syndrome in workers of an industry of transformation that fabricates beds and upholstery. A survey was conducted based in a descriptive transversal study, with the quantitative, exploratory, field methodological approach, investigating certain characteristics, of the population studied. The results show that amongst the people interviewed, 98,6% don´t have the Burnout Syndrome, and 1, 4% present the Syndrome. Throughout this study it can be concluded that the company has a good organizational climate and that it doesn’t present stressing factors at the current moment. It is a syndrome preferably found in professions that deal with other people directly and in an intense and daily way, that present pressions and/or high level of responsibility such as, for example, teachers and health professional. Before this scenario, proposals of improvements are made in order to minimize and even, make it reach a zero status of this company’s index. It is concluded that although the research points to a minimum index to the existence of the Burnout Syndrome in the company studied, it is important to be sought improvements to reduce or eliminate this syndrome in the work environment.eng
