Agrobiodiversidade em forma de poesia para o ensino das ciências ambientais

Abstract

A few of bibliographic resources related to the teaching of environmental sciences and the conservation of agrobiodiversity for high school students served as inspiration for the development of this project. In addition to that situation, the mechanical and decontextualized transmission of Portuguese language content, in addition to outdated teaching methodologies, also contribute to making the class of textual genres tedious, unpleasant and difficult to understand. Therefore, this research proposed to use poetry as a pedagogical resource, to describe the environmental perception of students regarding the conservation of agrobiodiversity in the teaching of environmental sciences in a contextualized way. The research was conducted with students in the second year of the Technical Course in Agriculture at IFAM Itacoatiara campus. Different strategies were used in the development of the project, such as thematic workshops, field research, discussion groups, group dynamics and the creation of a poetry notebook. To analyze the information collected, a qualitative approach was adopted to interpret the students' environmental perception of agrobiodiversity. The local alternative vegetables that exist around the Itacoatiara campus were also identified, to learn about and promote the conservation of these plants; and finally, a script of didactic activities was prepared contextualizing the research theme with the teaching of Environmental Sciences. These dialogues of approaches between students, students and researchers contributed to the stimulation of studying the discipline of Literature, from the basic core, together with the disciplines of the technological core, facilitating the teaching and learning of the lyrical genre, as well as the construction of poems that have as their main focus the knowledge and conservation of local alternative vegetables that encourage the conservation of agricultural biodiversity.
